Ermop will sweep the dust off the World Cup 2006

The cleaning of the 12 stadiums where the World Cup matches, which began yesterday in Germany, will be carried out using Ermop products. Demircioğlu stated, "We will represent Turkey in the best possible way."

The World Cup finals started yesterday in Germany. With 64 matches to be played across 12 cities, 32 countries will compete for the trophy. Although Turkey unfortunately did not qualify for the World Cup, Turkish companies are making their presence felt. Ermop Industrial Mop Manufacturing, Turkey's largest cleaning equipment producer, will have its mops, floor mats, and cleaning trolleys used for the cleaning of the 12 stadiums where the matches will take place. Ermop’s Sales and Dealers Deputy General Manager Erdal Demircioğlu said they are seeing the results of their high-quality production. Demircioğlu added, "Turkey is not in the finals, but as a Turkish company, our products will be used in the 12 stadiums in Germany. We will sweep the dust off the World Cup and represent Turkey in Germany in the best possible way."

Demircioğlu, who noted that they have been producing wet and dry floor mops since 1990, mentioned that they have dealers in 40 provinces across Turkey. He also reported that they export to 15 countries, including Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Greece, and said, "Last year, we achieved a turnover of 2 million euros. Our goal for this year is to double that amount, with half of this revenue coming from exports." Demircioğlu highlighted that their client portfolio includes major companies such as McDonald's, Karstadt AG, and Acıbadem Hospitals, and continued:

BROTHERLY SOLIDARITY

"In 1990, we founded this company with my brother Erdoğan and my sibling İbrahim. Thanks to the high-quality manufacturing we have done, we have become the number one in the sector. In 1998, we took part in the InterClean Amsterdam fair, marking a first in the industry and expanding internationally. Currently, we operate with 25 employees in our 2,500-square-meter production area. Our goal is to further expand our production area and capacity and increase our visibility not only in Turkey but worldwide."

CHINA CANNOT EVEN COMPETE WITH US

Regarding mop and mat production, Erdal Demircioğlu stated that China cannot compete with them: "It is not possible for the Chinese to match the quality of our production. They can replicate a product, but it cannot be of the same quality. In our industry, the Chinese cannot even be considered competitors. When I visited the fair in China in March, I saw that even the Chinese were tired of low-quality products. There is a serious demand for high-quality global brands. We should not view China as a competitor. However, we can benefit from Chinese companies for contract manufacturing."
