Can you briefly tell us about the founding story of ERMOP?
Although ERMOP was officially established in 1990, its vision, determination, and passion for production were conceived in the 1980s. Driven by the desire to create a lasting and reliable brand, ERMOP closely followed developments in Turkey and around the world, and by the 1990s, it took the lead in the industrial cleaning sector. In the 2000s, the company expanded its goals significantly. Notably, it made substantial investments in production technologies, establishing itself as a recognized brand abroad. These advancements increased ERMOP’s motivation towards sustainable growth, leading to one of the largest factory investments in its field in Düzce. Our factory, spanning 10,500 square meters of land with 5,000 square meters of covered area, produces injection systems, molds, and weaving machines that challenge global industry competition. ERMOP, which grew using its own resources, also began utilizing its 3,000 square meter facility in Istanbul as an administration, showroom, warehouse, and shipping center.
What types of products do you produce for the sector?
ERMOP is committed to creating systems rather than merely producing tools, equipment, and consumables. The company has established a continuous cleaning chain by integrating all the products in its production portfolio. The flagship of these systems is undoubtedly the GECKO SYSTEM. ERMOP has made revolutionary moves in the sector with products specially designed to provide savings in labor, energy, water, time, and chemicals for areas such as hospitals, schools, sports facilities, factories, office buildings, and shopping malls. ERMOP set another precedent years ago by producing recycling and separation bins, which have now become a legal requirement. The company has also introduced many innovations, including magnetic accessories, disposable, orlon, and microfiber mops, dustpans with lids, and the Step Mop System, which allows for quick and effective cleaning of escalators without stopping them.
What is ERMOP’s position in the industry?
ERMOP is one of the most well-known and trusted institutions in its sector. Due to these qualities, it has become the preferred brand in many state and city hospitals, private hospitals, domestic and international chain hotels, cafes, restaurants, and stores, as well as in shopping malls and schools. With sales channels including partners, distributors, and dealers across all regions and provinces in Turkey, ERMOP is also actively serving through its representatives and warehouses in Germany and the UK. Additionally, through international chain markets and distributors, ERMOP exports to countries such as France, Austria, the Netherlands, Canada, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Croatia, Serbia, Morocco, Jordan, the UAE, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova.
