The Governor of Düzce, Dr. Zülkif Dağlı, who has been appointed to Samsun under the Governors' Decree, continued his previously scheduled visits to factories in the Organized Industrial Zone (OSB). Governor Dağlı visited three factories in the OSB that resumed normal operations as of June 1st during the Covid-19 period.

Governor Dağlı was accompanied on his factory visits by OSB Board Chairman Selim Yirmibeşoğlu, Regional Director Aylin Özdemir, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tuncay Şahin, and Board Members Murat Saydam and Özkan Çakır. The governor and his team first visited the ERMOP industrial products factory. The company’s General Manager, Erdal Demircioğlu, and Administrative Affairs Officer, Nevruz Barut, provided information about the factory’s production and guided the governor and his delegation through the production area.

OSB Board Chairman Selim Yirmibeşoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the visits, saying, “Firstly, we wish our Governor Zülkif Dağlı all the best in his new position in Samsun. We thank him for his service in Düzce. We were deeply moved and honored that he followed through with these previously planned visits despite his transfer. We also thank the factory owners for their hospitality and for informing us about their operations.”

Following the visits, TSO President Tuncay Şahin made a general assessment, saying, “It is widely known that the most critical aspect of this period is the economy. We can succeed and grow through production, and we saw this commitment in the factories we visited. Production is continuing with all necessary precautions against the pandemic. We thank all our factories and entrepreneurs for their dedication to production.”
